School-based PE program held at CIS promoting cycling as a tool to achieve academic, health, and social success while promoting cycling as an outlet to improve cognitive, physical, and socio-emotional well-being.


Students learn the skills needed to safely explore neighborhoods on two wheels and become lifelong cyclists while providing the opportunity to experience the freedom granted by bicycle, improve self-confidence and self-reliance, and integrate healthy activity into everyday life.

Participants learn how to:

  • Utilize bikes for fun and transportation through regular practice rides alongside school PE staff and League Cycling Instructors.
  • Learn skills and practice habits, including bike maintenance, exercising for leisure and stress relief, setting short—and long-term goals, and selecting routes for safe navigation.


This session is closed to CIS school students.
