Confident City Cycling Classes at The Pitt Bike Cave, Tuesday, September 15th, 2026!

Confident City Cycling Class provides all the skills and knowledge to commute in Pittsburgh safely. This on-the-bike class will cover basic and advanced cycling skills and best practices for solo and group riding and includes a culminating group ride that utilizes the best of local bicycle infrastructure! Classes will be led by League Cycling Instructors (LCIs). 

No one under 18 can attend without a registered parent or guardian, and no one under 12 should attend this class (with or without a parent or guardian). 

All classes are held at The Pitt Bike Cave at 230 S Bouquet St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 

(The Pitt Bike Cave is along the pedestrian walkway between Posvar Hall and Barco Law Building)

All classes are from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Please bring your bike, helmet, water, comfortable clothes, and shoes for riding. The group ride will be held rain or shine - please dress accordingly and bring lights if you can. (The ride will be canceled in the event of lightning, eexcessive heat, or other inclement weather.)

Free helmet and POGOH bike share rentals can be provided by request. Please email education@bikepgh.org to request a POGOH bike share or helmet rental.
