Note: if you still need to learn to balance and pedal smoothly, please take one of our Learn to Ride classes (Bike Skills 101/102).
Students will proceed through a comprehensive series of 9 bicycle skills/handling exercises (starting and stopping, straight (narrow) line riding, shifting, scanning, scan-signal-turn, quick stop, "rock" dodge, avoidance weave, and quick turn) to ride more capably and to navigate around common road hazards.
